About the Fabric
Kendall is a sculptural version of a modern day Kilim rug inspired by traditional Kilim rugs of the former Ottoman Empire. Kilim rugs continue to be extremely popular in the Western world. Our modern interpretation includes the subtle textural qualities of an antique rug lovingly passed down by generations of family members. Soft chenille and a tightly woven cotton like ground create a contrast in dimension giving the fabric a high and low surface appearance and a soft hand. The layering and mixing of color creates value and sophistication in this popular Global design.
