A striking cabinet‑on‑stand in the Baroque revival manner, lavishly decorated in green‑ground Chinoiserie lacquer. The double doors are painted with romantic landscapes—roosters, songbirds, flowering shrubs, rockwork, and pavilions—framed by gilt borders and fitted with decorative pierced brass strap hinges and a central medallion lock plate. The case rests on an ebonized and parcel‑gilt six‑leg stand with carved capitals and stepped feet, giving the piece an architectural presence ideal for use as a bar or storage cabinet.
