HOT ! Jesse Tree Ornaments (Optional Tree) - Ann Voskamp version

Our Jesse Tree ornament set has 25 colorful, high-quality, two-layered wooden ornaments that include twine for hanging them on your Jesse Tree. The ornaments are designed to be used with Ann Voskamp\'s \"Unwrapping the Greatest Gift\" (not included with purchase) and it follows the story of Jesus and his lineage from Creation through His birth. The ornaments begin on December 1st and end on December 25th. This is a rich tradition that reminds us of God\'s goodness and how the entire Old Testament pointed to Jesus\'s birth, ministry, death, burial, and resurrection.

The primary verse that begun the tradition: Isaiah 11:1 - There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse, and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.

Each ornament is approximately 1/4\" thick and 2.75” in diameter. The top and bottom pieces are designed together to create a layered effect. They are all hand-painted on both layers with detailed engraving/cutting on each layer. The two pieces are glued together with the edges of each ornament being painted black. The backs of the ornaments are engraved and show the day (i.e. December 1), title from the Unwrapping the Greatest Gift book and Scripture for that day. If you do not have the book, you can simply use a Bible and follow the scriptures outlined in the summary document.

We also offer a Jesse Tree stand that was customized for this set. It is made from 1/4\" Baltic Birch and a Birch Dowel rod. At the top of the tree is a gold star and the tiered base is Isaiah 11:1 engraved. The base is detachable for better storage during the year when not in use.
