This pair of “DAX” armchairs, designed by Charles & Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller in the 1970s, is an iconic example of American modernist design.

In a superb period cream colour, these armchairs are in very good general condition despite more than 50 years of history. There is a micro-break on the fibreglass and a beautiful patina, evidence of their authenticity. Each piece has a “V” moulded into the fibre, proof of production carried out in Weil am Rhein, Germany.

The chrome bases, carefully cleaned, regain their original shine, adding a refined touch. These armchairs are a rare opportunity for design lovers, combining timeless style and history.
