OSW-77 is an audio rack that features wide width and high rigidity. It is a high-quality design that uses 30mm thick cherry plywood for the shelves and 32mm thick solid Asada cherry wood for the pillars.

High quality wood and rigid design

  Highly rigid material: The shelves are made of 30mm thick cherry plywood, and the supports are made of 32mm thick Asada cherry wood. It achieves the excellent resonance that only wood can provide and the stability that contributes to sound quality.

Wide design: Overall size is W1090 x D450 x H772mm.

I never thought that just changing the audio rack could change the sound so much. The first thing I noticed was that the sound had settled down, and the calmness of the low range had become deeper. There\'s a slightly soft sound in the mid-low range, typical of cherry wood racks, which naturally enriches the music. Compared to when I was listening to it on a metal rack, the contours of the sound were less sharp, and the whole thing felt like it was breathing more slowly.The solid Asada cherry wood used for the pillars of the OSW-77 produces a very firm \'tap\' sound when struck. This material quality seems to be reflected in the sound itself, providing a strong sense of low-end control and well-defined sound texture. The hollowness is reduced, making the bass lines particularly easier to discern.It is also highly practical as a rack. Its wide design allows for parallel placement of a preamp and DAC, and the shelf heights can be adjusted finely. The structure is solid, providing excellent stability when equipment is placed on it.One thing to note is that when listening to live recordings or sharp-edged rock, a metal rack can more easily bring out a sharper sound. However, in the case of the OSW-77, rather than making the sound softer, the resonance of the wood naturally seems to \'correct\' it, making this rack less fatiguing for long listening sessions.
