Detailed information on Round Dot Necklace - Labradorite

Rose cut labradorite stone is set in a simple oxidized bezel setting accented with a pop of 24k gold. The soft iridescent flash of the labradorite creates an understated elegance, while the warm glow of the gold accent adds a touch of luxury to this minimalist design.

  • Pendant size: 13 mm

  • Oxidized silver chain is adjustable from 16-18in with a lobster clasp.

  • Handmade in Richmond VA

KEUM-BOO (translates to \"attached gold\") is a Korean metalsmithing technique that has been used for centuries. It is the process of fusing pure 24k gold onto fine silver using heat and burnishing creating a permanent diffusion bond.

The Austin Titus studio is located in the historic neighborhood of Church Hill, in Richmond VA. Her work is influenced by old world textures and details yet always with the desire to keep a contemporary edge. She finds beauty in the imperfect, tactile nature of an object that has been handmade—raw edges, hammer and file marks—these are the signature of the maker and a timeline of the process.
