We are excited to announce Mimi and Paul\'s second boot: the Crescent Lace-up Eastern Boot, expanding their personal, and uniquely handmade, Eastern boot collection: pskaufman x Me. The Crescent Lace-up Eastern boot is a mash-up inspired by the original cowboy boots which laced up and had kilties, keeping brush out of the laces, and more contemporary western boots. They have an embroidered underlay of the Egyptian Goddess Isis and her wings are represented both on the embroidered toe and eye row. They feature a structured snip-toe, sturdy 3.25 inch heel (our highest, yet!), military-spec aluminum blind eyelets and a removable double kiltie. Plus, all the features you\'ll keep comin\' back for:  genuine goodyear-welt construction with repurposed jet tire inner tube toplifts, a genuine stacked leather heel, leather welt, cork inner sole, leather-covered memory foam footbed and double leather outsole. The bone playa wash colorway is hand-painted then washed with lava rocks giving them a distressed, worn, walked-100-miles-through-the-desert look. 

Mimi Elashiry and Paul Kaufman\'s friendship began over boots and a love of the style-soaked vintage American western clothing they both collected.  Drawing on their shared obsession for vintage western boots,  passion for the environment and a love for well-made, functional products, it was inevitable that Mimi and Paul  would conjure something magical together.
 

Mimi has always expressed herself in whatever form she embraced.  Her love of style, in particular vintage western wear, and obsession with throwing on cowboy boots with any outfit, has seen Mimi further develop her eclectic sense of style.  After many years of traveling, exploring, and dancing the night away with pskaufman\'s comfy-as-all-#ionlywearpskaufman) on her feet, Mimi felt the time was right to reach out to Paul and propose a joint effort to create something special together.
