A refined late 19th-century French Provincial drop-leaf table, handcrafted from solid maple and sourced from Provence, France. Recently structurally restored and refinished, the oval planked top is finished in a warm medium-brown tone that enhances the maple’s natural warmth and depth of color. The work preserved subtle signs of age, allowing the fine, tight grain and antique character of the wood to remain visible. Two hinged leaves extend the surface when needed, allowing the table to transition from compact to functional with ease. Raised on four finely turned and fluted legs ending in ball feet, the table reflects the skilled craftsmanship of the period. Solid and versatile, it serves equally well as a dining table, occasional table, or space-saving solution in both traditional and modern interiors.
