Detailed information on 2 Vintage Papier Maché Easter Egg Candy Containers, Made in West Germany

These 2 paper and card Easter Eggs were made in Western Germany and feature similar vintage cartoon animals on the exterior. One shows some bunnies taking a hot air balloon ride, and the other shows a range of animals dancing around the May pole. Originally they would have contained candy and could be resued again for the same purpose if not used purley as seasonal decor. CONDITION:The pieces are in good vintage condition with their paper doily frill along the interior edge of one side. The interiors are papered with a pretty pink floral paper in which the word “Made in Western Germany” are embedded. The Maypole egg has some details about the distributor of the piece on one edge.

MEASUREMENTS:

The pieces are 6.5 inches in height and rouhly 4 inches in diameter across the centre.
