We’re honored to bring this beautiful, meaningful coffee to our menu — a reflection of Kenyan terroir, community strength, and the future of equitable coffee production.


• Our relationship with Kapkiyai comes through our sourcing partner, Vava Coffee, founded by Vava Angwenyi. A farmer, exporter, and activist, Vava has spent over a decade working to reshape the Kenyan coffee landscape by championing education, empowerment, and gender equity. Thanks to her leadership, and the resilience of producers like those at Kapkiyai, initiatives like Fairtrade certification and targeted agronomy training have helped increase both coffee quality and incomes across the board.
