Their popularity surged following WWII, as their clean and tailored designs appealed to the new female workforce. In the 1980s Monet designed for Yves St Laurent. Their vintage pieces are highly valued by collectors for their innovative designs and meticulous detail. In addition they were triple-plated in 22 carat gold.
